Sider Enterprise Release Note in January 2021

PLEASE CHECK GitHub Enterprise Server Version#

Sider Enterprise requires GitHub Enterprise Server 2.22 or later from these releases. Please make sure that your GitHub Enterprise Server is updated to the compatible version.

Notes:

We had changed the handling of access tokens for public repositories in release-202101.0, but we found out this does not work with GitHub Entgerprise Server with private mode enabled. If you activate this feature on your GitHub Enterprise Server, skip release-202101.0 and update to release-202101.1.

  • The "Enable" button on /admin/repositories/:repository_id will not only enable a repository but also cancel its scheduled deletion
  • Runners no longer uses GitHub access tokens for public repositories
  • Read-only GitHub access tokens get passed to Runners to protect your source code more securely
